Chute Lake is a small alpine lake high above Penticton on Okanagan mountain at about 4000 feet. It is accessible by road from Penticton and by 4 wheel drive road from Kelowna. From here the trail descends steadily and quickly into the vineyards and orchards of the Okanagan Valley.
Heading Kelowna way heading on lakeview road to Chute lake road, make a left turn onto Uppermission drive, then onto Gillard Forest Service Rd traval for 8km on the right there will be a sign saying Chute lake. Then for 11km you will get to the lake. The road is the KVR and it is a little ruff and tight have to make sure to keep an eye open for other people.
